Plato. Socrates, Aristotle, Kant...Marilyn Manson

Marilyn Manson Teaches Class at Temple U

It is almost as if our culture no longer knows who is, and who is not a good thinker. The very fact that someone at Temple takes him seriously is a smear on the institution. And any time MTV takes an interest in a college (Art and Society-thanks for the clarification, Mr. Pierce) class, you know you shouldn't touch it with a ten foot poll.

There is so much wrong with this one, it is not even funny...

I thought this sounded strange, but then I saw that it was an Art and Society class and not a philosophy class at all. This would be like having Rush Limbaugh come speak at a class about talk radio. He's not the best person to teach on that, because he isn't qualified to teach anything, but he's part of the subject of study, as Marilyn Mason is with some legitimate topics in art and society under the category of pop culture.
