Like any community, it takes time to become integrated into a congregation. Once young adults head off to college, they are separated from the congregation in which they grew up, and it may be 10 years or more before they settle back down in one location. We seem to <I>expect</I> church services to meet our needs, be interesting, be relevant, and not stifle our personal relationship with Jesus.
